I’m an IBM professional in Bengaluru working on search and document retrieval. My focus is improving retrieval accuracy without embeddings, using approaches that don’t rely on vector representations.
My work covers search-engine and retrieval-related projects, including inverted indexes and ranking approaches such as TF-IDF. I’m interested in how system design choices affect retrieval behavior and results quality.
I keep evaluating retrieval pipelines through the lens of ranking signals and indexing strategies, especially where embeddings are not part of the plan.
