I also take motorcycle rides, sometimes solo and sometimes with friends, and I tend to judge a ride by how the bike feels on real roads, not just on paper. If that angle sounds useful, I can open up that thread.

I work as a software engineer, but the experiences I share here come from outside work. My first Himalayan trek was Deoriatal Chandrashila, with summit day on my birthday. My first snow trek was Kuari Pass, and we reached the summit, though we didn't complete the full route.
I document my Buran Ghati trek-starting with how I prepared and chose gear, and then what happened on our group's DIY day when I joined the serving team. I also write about what the trek felt like, how I planned for it, and the people I met along the way.
